I want everyone to leave us with full bellies, and even fuller hearts."

craveABLEs Founder

I have been an adaptive special education teacher for over 7 years, helping high school students develop skills for independence and employment. As they approach graduation, our focus shifts to job readiness. While some students participate in workplace internships, many parents face challenges finding employers for their children with intellectual disabilities. Most businesses feel unprepared to hire these individuals, creating barriers. After seeing these struggles, I shifted my approach from hoping for inclusive businesses to supporting craveABLEs, a place that actively seeks to hire these students. I believe craveABLEs will unite the community and create inclusive opportunities, leaving everyone with full bellies and fuller hearts.
